This is an opportunity to play many of the premier courses in our area. The Society is open to all retired gentlemen golfers at Hull Golf Club. Our current membership is quite small compared to many clubs, and stands at approximately 25 members, so there is ample opportunity for new membership. Matches are played with 16 members from each club (slightly more in matches against Grimsby and Elsham Golf Clubs) so at present levels there are good possibilities to play in most matches. Annual subscription is minimal and the price of meals at all venues is more than reasonable. Throughout the season we play against thirteen clubs in the East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region, ranging from Scarborough South Cliff in the North to Kenwick Park near Louth in the South. All fixtures are on a home and away basis. The fixtures can be viewed in the Competition Section of this website and are provided on a current and next month basis in the course playing diary. Traditionally, at all matches, both clubs meet in the respective clubhouse for morning coffee prior to Tee-off, and following the match we join together in the clubhouse for a meal and an enjoyable social event before normally declaring the match to be an honourable draw.
